What the site provides
Phin Ratio offers a brewing calculator and written guides about Vietnamese phin coffee, free of charge, for personal and informational use. The ratios, times, and temperatures are honest starting points drawn from real brewing, but coffee, water, equipment, and taste all vary — results aren’t guaranteed, and adjusting to your own cup is part of the method, not a defect in it.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. I work to keep the information accurate and the calculator correct, but I can’t promise the site will always be available, error-free, or right about everything. To the extent permitted by law, I’m not liable for any damages arising from use of the site — which, given that the stakes are a disappointing cup of coffee or spilled hot water, mostly means: handle just-boiled water with the respect it deserves.

The articles, calculator, and design of this site are © Paolo Gomez. You’re welcome — encouraged — to link to any page, quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link, print recipes for your own kitchen, and share the site freely. What’s not okay: republishing whole articles, scraping the site’s content for other websites or datasets, or presenting the guides or calculator as your own work, commercially or otherwise. If you’d like to use the content in a way not covered here, just ask.
